I established the Linda P Black Interior Design business in 1980.
My objective is to combine my interior design talents with the client’s vision in order to achieve their true sanctuary via residence or workplace. I strive to understand all client’s needs. In addition, I create plans to include furniture placement and lighting needs.
I have both residential and commercial experiences. Prior to starting my own interior design business, I worked at a number of design firms including John Lafalce, B.C. Porters, BKM, and Advent Interior Design.
Had a good fortune of working with David Stoner & Sons builders for over 15 years as their highlighted interior designer.
I have volunteered through my church VCBC for various project. I have rang the bell for Avon lions for 4 years. I was a member Avon lion clubs during the 90's. 2017/2018 I have volunteered on the decorating committee for the west Hartford mayors ball. I have also supplied a decorated table for set to celebrate, all the proceeds funds went to Elizabeth park rose garden. I have my first grandson. I swim 20 minutes non stop at a local pool 5 days a week. I walk at least a mile today.
I do coordination and site supervision for all projects. Also, long distance projects utilizing cad drafting, scanning furniture for various projects.
